I've had the same problem. I have found a work around by removing my
NNTP Host name from my "NNTPHost=" line and leaving it blank. This way
it prompts me every time I start up WinVN, but at least it works. I
have been trying to figure this out by email to winvn@titan.ksc.nasa.gov.

Subject: Re: SuperTCP/NFS v4.0 and HyperDisk
Hey Guys,
Is there anyone out there who has gotten SuperTCP PPP dialup to work on a
regular basis. I can get it to work about thirty percent of the time. I do
not have a scope that can detect PPP so I have had to decode the hex myself. I
would love to see any traces of consistant logins using PPP and SuperTCP so I
can try to ajust my PPP server to match what their client wants to see. It's
all timing so far, but I can not see where.
